Helping clients engage their customers authentically requires us to be authentic in the markets they serve.

To that end, we've built a team that has significant professional and personal experience in the outdoor, cycling and endurance sports segments, especially within related media, marketing and leadership roles in addition to an educational base in related fields ranging from communications to business and psychology.

Jasen Thorpe

Jasen Thorpe

Jasen founded Thorpe Marketing in 2010 after recognizing the market need and having the desire to better serve the people and companies he has come to know and appreciate during his 30+ year career in the cycling and media industries. His experience extends from North America to Europe and Asia, and bridges editorial, marketing, sales, and product development roles with leading companies in both industries.

When he isn't plotting, planning, or otherwise agitating on behalf of Thorpe Marketing’s clients, you’ll find Jasen building and riding stupid-technical cross country mountain bike trails, competing in Judo with his son, and exploring Colorado’s Front Range with his wife.

Linda Thorpe

Linda Thorpe

Linda joined Thorpe Marketing, well, at the beginning, founding the agency with Jasen. A well-rounded, outdoor-loving Coloradan, Linda can regularly be found hiking, out on skis and snowshoes or riding dirt roads on her cyclocross bike. Linda is a former competitive swimmer and holds psychology, social behavior and yoga studies degrees from UC Irvine, making her perhaps the most Boulder™ qualified of the entire Thorpe team.

She’s as solid as they come behind the camera or in front of a Quickbooks file, but it’s the care and attention that she provides to Thorpe clients, vendors and staff that our clients appreciate most.

SARAH LUKAS

Originally from Wisconsin, Sarah has spent the previous two decades on two wheels in the pro mountain bike, cyclocross, and road fields. Not only does she have a deep love for the Packers and cheese, but also enjoys cross country skiing, yoga, her three dogs, and spreadsheets.

Along with an M.B.A. in International Business, Sarah has spent the last 10-years working in brand and project management, e-commerce, all facets of digital marketing, media, advertising, content/copy, and event planning. She also has worked with groups such as the Little Bellas and raced with the Amy D. Foundation. While she traveled the world racing and riding bikes over the previous years, her recent move to Squamish, British Columbia has seen her experiencing new things like Muay Thai and kickboxing.

Kelli Samuelson

Kelli is passionate about cycling and the bike industry but prefers to let her actions do the talking. While Kelli may have cut teeth chasing podium dreams in the Red Hook Criterium series, she now skillfully manages the LA Sweat Racing and LA Swat Junior Dev team. Outside of that, she enjoys hopping on her road bike in search of long rides but is equally comfortable throwing caution to the wind: jumping into a van on the way to taking part in an impromptu multi-day bike packing adventure through a remote mountain range.

While she misses the rigors of training on the road, her focus has allowed her to pursue her career in the bike industry working with notable brands for the past 10 years. Kelli brings a wealth of perspective and experience to clients; helping brands find their voice, build their following and share their stories. She has also been able to venture into other cycling avenues like mountain biking, bikepacking, touring, etc. If it has two wheels and pedals, she’s into it.

Anna Kramer

Anna grew up in upstate New York, hightailed it to sunny southern California to study Environmental Analysis at Pomona College, and then landed in Colorado’s Front Range to pursue a degree in environmental history, and work in conservation communications, public lands policy, and outdoor recreation advocacy.

After starting road cycling in college and getting dropped in the first mile of her very first criterium in 2018, Anna has been enthusiastically hammering up hills, doing her best in road, gravel, and xc mountain bike races, commuting by bike, and attempting to wheelie.
